Hello Ontbirders,
At 9:30 this Sunday morning I saw a Summer Tanager in Jean Iron's backyard
at 9 Lichen Place in Don Mills. It then flew into Brookbanks Ravine. It was
a "mottled male" in first alternate plumage having a rosey red head and
rump (some rose on underparts too) with mainly greenish wings and tail.
Jean gets back tonight from the OFO trip to Rainy River so I have a bird on
her yard list that she doesn't.
