A pair of immature LITTLE GULLS turned up at the Grimsby Sewage Lagoons, which prompted visits by many birders looking to add this species to the Hamilton Area life list. These observers also reported BONAPARTE'S GULL, ORCHARD ORIOLE, BALTIMORE ORIOLE, DUNLIN, SEMI-PALMATED SANDPIPER, LEAST SANDPIPER, WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER, BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER and AMERICAN PIPIT. Last but not least, many WHIMBRELS turned up at points, along the north shore of Lake Erie, including FEATHERSTONE POINT, TURKEY POINT, and POINT PELEE. Be sure to let us know about your sightings this week. Leave your name, telephone number, as well as the time and date of your call. Sightings can also be reported by e-mail. GOOD BIRDING!
