Birders, I heard and saw 2 Louisiana Waterthrushes on the Main Loop at Dundas Valley Conservation Area. They were at posts M5m6 and N2n2.
A male and female Black-throated Green were at N7m7 on the Main Loop where a male Bl.-thr. Green has been singing the past two summers. Other species on the Main Loop were Blue-winged Warbler 2, Pine Warbler 1, and 2 singing Brown Creepers. Other species today; Maltby Road (Guelph) Am. Redstart 2 Ovenbird 1 Nashville 1 N. N. Grebe 1 Directions: Go south on the Hanlon Expressway in Guelph. Turn left at Maltby Road and follow it east to Puslinch-Nassaga- weya Townline. Turn left and follow it south for approximately 600 meters. Turn right on 25 sideroad and drive east past 1st line Nassagaweya to Guelph Line. Turn right and drive south to 15 Sideroad. Turn left and drive east to 4th line Nassagayewa. Turn right and go south to 10 Sideroad. Turn right and go west to Guelph Line. Turn left and drive south to Campbellville. Turn right at the light onto Halton Sideroad 9 and go west to Milborough Line. Instead of going north to Mountsberg, turn left and go south to 536. Turn right and drive west to Centre Road. Turn left and go south to Waterdown. Turn left on Dundas, old Highway 5 and go east to Kerns Road. Follow Kerns road south to Kernscliff Park. Continue south to the service road and turn left to Brant Street. Turn right and follow Brant Street south to Plains Road. Turn right on Plains Road in Burlington and drive west to LaSalle Park Road. Go south to LaSalle Park. Exit LaSalle Park and turn right onto North Shore Blvd. East. Follow it to Lakeshore Road, and just past Brant Street Spencer Smith Park is on your right. For Dundas Valley Conservation Area, exit the 403 in Hamilton at 2/8 Main Street west. Drive west to highway 8, and continue to Governor's Road. Turn left and drive past Bridlewood. Dundas Valley Conservation Area is on your left. Park in the lot and follow the trail past the old railway station. The Main Loop is on the other side of the bikepath.
