Sorry for the late posting, I was checking with Mark Cranford on the advisability of this notice.
About 10 BLACK TERNS were feeding on insects above a marsh in Prince Edward County on both Sunday and Monday mornings. I have returned to Toronto and cannot confirm if they are still there. Location details are below. Please note these birds should not be disturbed, they can be easily viewed from the road at about 50-60 metres distance. Their nesting habitat/eggs are very sensitive. Location: Wesley Acres Road which is the first left turn off Hwy 33 as you leave Bloomfield towards Wellington. There are several large willows on the left side of the road about 2 kms from the turn. You can park on the shoulder about 100 metres beyond the willows and the marsh is on the left side of the road. Try 7:30-9:30 am.
