ontbirds; I have just received a telephone message from Bill Lamond who is returning from Point Pelee that he has just observed a Common Crane flying around the Bloomfield exit on Highway 401 near Chatham. The bird did not land but has been flying around the open fields in the area. He observed the crane for some time.
