Just to update interested birders, the male Ruff was still present at the
Embrun Sewage Lagoons at 17h.00 on Sunday, 11 May. At that time, it was on
the north shore of the north-east cell foraging at the edge of the water
together with several Lesser Yellowlegs. From time to time it would
disappear into the low shrubs bordering the lagoon & might be overlooked.
It flew each time the Yellowlegs flew but all returned more or less to the
same spot as we watched.
