Between 3:00 and 6:00 pm today my husband, Gordon Syms, and I saw a
Red-faced Warbler in Shell Parkin Oakville. It was north of the creek on the
east side of the bridge in some cedars in front of the houses there.
Unfortunately it flew away before we could get a photo of it.

Some of the other warblers we saw along the river there were much as others
are reporting today:
Lots of yellow and yellow rumped warblers
a few chestnut-sided warblers and black throated greens,
black-throated blue, and a Magnolia.

Other species seen down by the woods on the east side of the soccer field
included: a couple of black & whites, many palm warblers, some American
Redstarts, 2 Carolina Wrens, a Rose-breasted Grosbeak, and a Goldfinch.

Shell Park North is on the north side of Lakeshore between Bronte Rd and
Burloak - approx. a km east of Burlington.
