A most wonderful sunny day brought out very many families to the Thickson's Festival on this May 3 morning. They and the many birders who came along to support the Meadow Fund-raising enjoyed everyone's camaraderie. CONGRATS TO THE ENTIRE THICKSON'S EXEC. There was not an abundance of birds, but highlights included a "vagrant" COMMON REDPOLL, sighted by Geoff Carpentier, and singing treetop BROWN THRASHERS and a N.MOCKINGBIRD. Others included: Black-throated Blue Warbler Nashville W. Brown Creeper Palm W. YELLOW WARBLER Yellow-rumped W. Black-throated Green W. Black-&-White W.
