Today two Bald Eagles were seen building a nest on Dickson Lake in Algonquin Park. We have suspected for the past couple of years that eagles were nesting in the Park but this would be the first confirmed record.
The eagles were spotted and photographed by staff from the Algonquin Fisheries Assessment Unit. Dickson Lake is located northeast of Opeongo Lake and can only be reached by canoe.
