Saturday, May3--Thickson's Woods  fundraiser festival (birding, appreciating
Daphne in bloom, pancakes, camaraderie)--we will welcome conditions more
conducive to bird migration than it has been lately.
Today/ Apr.30 gave us a few good birds in the morning, albeit having to work
for them. Highlights-- OVENBIRD, Pine Warbler, NASHVILLE WARBLER, SWAINSON'S
THRUSH, treetop PALM W., BLACK-&-WHITE, WINTER WREN, Hermit Thrush, Brown
Thrasher, 2 BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHERS, Hairy Woodpecker, several Kinglets, many
White-throated Sparrows and many Yellow-rumped Warblers.
