Today the timiskaming banding group netted some early arrivals to our area 2 yellow rumped warblers as well as ruby and golden crowned kinglets and white throated sparrows. Also seen was a eastern phoebe. Thousands of geese have arrived and large flocks are passing over daily. mallards are paired up but fields that are normally flooded are already dry. Happy spring
