We could not have come to terms with our luck Today. Yesterday we were with Ron Tozer's led OFO group in Algonquin park and had a wonderful time. Today morning we were heading back to the park and stopped at km 8. At the very utility pole where we stopped there was the male Black Backed Woodpecker. Two poles further down the female was working on the pole. We spent about half an hour taking pictures and they were still there when we left. I will try to send some pictures to OFO later on.
