Hi fellow birders,

Yesterday I relayed the first two reports of Yellow-rumped Warblers spotted
in the Sault Ste. Marie area on the weekend (April 12)

Today I am reporting that after yesterdays warm spell, numerous
Yellow-rumped Warblers were spotted in the city. They where unusually quiet
and would have gone almost unnoticed if one did not look for them. It was as
if they dropped from the sky when they hit the oncoming coldfront (coming
from the northwest). I hope they found shelter as last nights temperature
dropped to -4C in the city and likely colder in the outskirts.

in addition

Migration of raptors, waterfowl, cranes, blackbirds, Dark-eyed Junco and
American Tree Sparrow was quite intense the last two days.

Also received reports that over the weekend Winter Wren where heard singing
in places and Eastern Phoebe are around.
