Dear Fellow Birders This morning Seabrooke Leckie and I stopped in at a series of ponds in north Oakville and was surprized to find a Caspian Tern flying over them. I have had Caspian Tern here once in the fall, but being so far inland seems like a wierd location. We watched it for about 10 minutes before it managed to catch a fair size goldfish and fly off to the north. Also heard was a Savannah Sparrow.
Directions: Exit the QEW at Trafalger Rd in Oakville go north to River Glen Blvd and turn left and follow this to Sixth Line, the ponds are at this corner. Mike Boyd Guelph, Ontario Mike Boyd <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
