Today I spotted more than 1,000 Tundra Swans in a field just north of Gorrie. This is a usual staging area and I have seen birds here for the past 4 years. Directions: Swans are located in a large field just north and west of Gorrie. Birds can be viewed easily from Rd 87 which runs from Wroxeter to Gorrie. I spotted another flock of approx. 200 in a field 2 km west of Newry on Rd.16. Newry is south of Listowel on Highway 23. Most of the birds in both locations are within 100 meters of the road.
