Windsor - Ojibway Park

With the warm weather of today and the southern wind I went out hoping to
find some early warblers. No warblers but a few groups of Golden Crowned
Kinglets one with the Brown Creeper escort.

Suddenly my birding partner turns and say hey look at this behind you. And
there a huge dark hawklike form at tree top height. That's no hawk thats a
Golden Eagle I say. It was on cruise control, strangely heading right into
the the southernly winds. We had a good view for about 30 seconds as it
continued out of sight over the next line of trees.

So you never know what will happen any day, no warblers (yet) but suddenly
an eagle where I would not expect to find one.

Windsor Ojibway Park is located on Machette Road in Windsor.
