Wednesday morning,March 26th,
Hi fellow Birders,
I had a great two hours in the Park yesterday from 3 to 5 o'clock.
I saw four Mourning Cloaks(in different areas, so I know it wasn't same one). Two or three in Tarzenland, one in meadow, one by Lake Chipican. I saw the most beautiful male Golden- Crowned Kinglet with very orange stripe on his head, he was at eye level so I got a real good look. I saw other Kinglets but not as close as that little guy.I also saw a Northern Flicker in the meadow at the edge of Tarzenland. And in the woods I saw a Phoebe. Song Sparrows in meadow and Meadowlarks a few days ago, also in the meadow.
Canatara Park is in Sarnia, off Christina Street.

HAPPY BIRDING from Carol C
