After failing to see the Bronte Barrow's Goldeneye this morning searching
from 9:00 'till 10:45, we left and found the Lesser Black Backed Gull on
the Burlington bay, off Eastport Drive, as reported by Maris Apse yesterday.
Take the Eastport Drive exeit from the QEW, cross the lift bridge, and start
looking right after the bend which takes you closer to the bay.

Then we observed three adult little Gulls (winter plumage still) from the
Queenston boat dock, sometimes having two in the scope/binoculars at a time!
Thanks to Gordon Bellerby and Maris for their updates, we have two great
year birds!

From the 405 exit at the Niagara Parkway and go north toward the Lake. Go
right on Dumfries Rd. and it leads you right to the entrance to the
Queenston boat dock. I make the first left and walk down the hill, as it is
icy.
