Hi all,
Mike and I did abit of birding today around Hamilton and Stoney Creek.
Our highlights were: 1 adult male King Eider at the end of Jones Rd. in
Stoney Creek, all three species of Scoter's in Stoney Creek, 1 first
winter male King Eider at the Burlington Lift bridge canal, 1 Red-necked
Grebe and 1 Ring-necked Duck at the lift bridge canal, 1 Horned Grebe
and 1 Hooded Merganser at Desjardin Canal.

BTW the lift bridge is open.

Directions: Lift bridge: exit QEW at Eastport drive and follow until you
get to the bridge.
Stoney Creek: exit QEW at Frutiland Rd and check out roads along the
North Service Road

Good Birding,
