Hi Birders,
At 1.45pm today, I had a pair of Ravens , Soaring,
Gliding, Tumbling & Displaying overhead, a true "spectacle" to witness.
I had x -country skied, at Hilton Falls all morning, hoping to get a
glimpse of these birds, with no luck. I had a cell phone call , "Better
come home the kids are sick". As I left the Conservation area, I decided
to try Dublin Rd again. Bob& Glenda,had found the Birds there yesterday.
( I`m sure the same pair). Just as I passed Tremaine Rd, the birds
appeared overhead. displaying for about 5mins, before flying off in a N.
W. direction. We all need some luck sometimes!
Directions as per Bob Curry:
This general area is known as Milton Heights. From the centre
of Campbellville, go East on on Campbellville Rd, under Hwy 401. The
birds were seen on Campbellville Rd, between Tremaine Rd & Dublin Rd,
eventually flying over the Escarpment.
