Yesterday at 2:30 Pm. we saw a Red Necked Grebe very close to shore in the
ice, broken up by
the wave motion. It was at right in front of the parking where the road
ends.
We are wondering if it was smart enough to swim the few hundred feet under
water back to the open.
Other ducks: Long Tailed Duck, Scoup, Common Goldeneye, White Winged Scoter,
Bufflehead, Red Breasted Merganser.
