(This email has been approved by the listowner.) Every year on the second Sunday in January, local nature clubs count all the waterfowl on the Canadian shore of Lake Ontario.
This year, 73 people counted 277,135 waterfowl from 37 species. As well, 21 Bald Eagles were reported. The following are the totals for each species.
