For those waiting for a report, both these birds are still present as of this morning. The Hawk Owl was located in the maples near the corner of Reid and Guelph Line about 8:30 a.m..
The Snowy Owl was present at Pier 26 at about 10:30 a.m. on the ground near the ships at this location. Northern Hawk Owl Directions: Coming from the south on Guelph Line turn left (west) at the first road past the Presbyterian church in Campbellville. (Reid Road) North from Guelph Line turn right at the first road (Reid) after 401. Snowy Owl: Note the previous information that the Burlington canal lift bridge is closed. Take the QEW across the skyway to the first exit (Woodward Ave), turn right onto Eastport Dr to the (frozen) ponds on the left.
