This afternoon around 4:30 pm 22 Short-eared Owls were along the 6th concession just east of the Raptor Preserve on the trees along or near the road. 5 more were found on a drive east and south to the lake west of Port Maitland for a total of 27 this afternoon. The 6th conession is the first east-west road north of the Village of Fisherville in Haldimand County.
