Hi all birders
Jerry Guild and I found the gray Partridges to-day
Jan.16th around 9.30 am.They were on the Yuell Rd.
approx 250 yards north of the Charlotteville 11 Road and
approx 250 yards south of house # 624.The birds were close to the road 30
feet in and huddled down amongst the grasses and weeds. We followed the
Burrells directions going west on Hwy 3 to Charlotteville Rd 10 then when we
hit Yuill Rd turning right to the next road which was Charletteville Rd 11.
A red-bellied woodpecker was seen on the A Concession at the creek and
another at Fishers Glen as was the tufted titmouse.
From Hwy 24 go south on Hwy 59 to the A Concession and turn right.
From Hwy 24 turn south on Fishers Glen Rd to this tiny place and watch the
area at the bottom of the hill at the sharp turn.Watch the feeders.
The pine warbler was at # 36 Beach Ave.Long Point
