At 3:00 pm today my husand and I observed an adult bald eagle flying over
the Speed River near downtown Guelph. It flew low over the river 20-30 feet
away from where we were watching but did not catch anything. It then flew
up over the road and turned and flew away to the west. The whole time it
was being harassed by a gull and then also by a crow.

Directions: Take the Hanlon Expressway north from the 401. Turn east
(right) on Wellington Road. The river parallels the road for several
intersections. The eagle was seen near the intersection of Wellington and
Neeve St.
