kernel dropped netlink messages

Hi,

Since we upgraded our Bird installation to 1.6.3 (from 1.6.0), we do get some 
"bird: Kernel dropped some netlink messages, will resync on next scan." 
messages in our syslogs. What does this message mean and how can we prevent it?
