Its jus like CSIR-NET. Doesn't make big difference. Its not a very easy exam. But, you can clear it wen u r working for some months sincerely. If you are in Northern part of India, it becomes easy as the syllabus basics are covered in your schools.
Better go for CSIR-NET as you ll have wide options. Register as early as possible.
