Hi all,

I'd like to remind everyone that the GPL license grants irrevocable rights
to the public to use, modify, propagate, and convey verbatim or modified
versions of the software under the same license, without permission. See
for example, FAQ
https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#WhyDoesTheGPLPermitUsersToPublishTheirModifiedVersions

Bioconductor should either deprecate or assign a new maintainer in
consideration of any impacts on all users and developers of Bioconductor
software.

Sincerely,
Levi
