The reason the hook is declining your package is most likely because of a
version mismatch or a name mismatch. Please remember, RELEASE_3_12 can only
have bug fixes in it. It is also weird that your branch name is written in the
Camel case �Release_3_12�, where the actual branch name is �RELEASE_3_12� all
upper case.
Try both options once and let us know what the issue is.

I sent the email below to bioc-de...@bioconductor.org but I got an email back
saying that the email was not delivered. I hope you can help with the issue
mentioned below. I attached the error I got using the terminal and SourceTree.
I had a look at the git FAQ and followed the suggested solution and this didn't
help. I thought it could be a problem with access rights but I was able to put
my changes to the master branch.
in the R folder of my package there is an R function called zzz.R which states
that package is deprecated, should I delete this function or will this be
removed once the package builds successfully?

I have problems commiting changes to the Release_3_12. I get the following
error:

For more iinformation, I attached a screeshot of my terminal session. I was
able to commit changes to the master Branch and had problems only with the
Release.
I would really appreciate it if you can help me with this issue.
