Hi,

ISC provides BIND 9 packages via:

- Launchpad:
 - BIND 9.18: https://launchpad.net/~isc/+archive/ubuntu/bind-esv
 - BIND 9.20: https://launchpad.net/~isc/+archive/ubuntu/bind
 - BIND 9.21: https://launchpad.net/~isc/+archive/ubuntu/bind-dev
- Debian custom repositories:
 - BIND 9.18: https://bind.debian.net/bind-esv/
 - BIND 9.20: https://bind.debian.net/bind/
 - BIND 9.21: https://bind.debian.net/bind-dev/

In preparation for Debian trixie, following changes will be made to the
packages (as they are built from the same source):

- Transitional packages dnsutils and bind9utils have been dropped (in favour of
bind9-dnsutils and bind9-utils)

- The all /etc/bind/db.*, named.conf.default-zones and zones.rfc1918
configuration files are going to be removed in favor of empty-zones yes; (which
is default)

- /etc/bind/named.conf.options has been cleared for obsolete or superfluous
options

Please be aware of these changes to configuration files when upgrading the
packages as this could result in named not starting.
