On the face of your description, this sounds like a spammer who has slightly more skill than usual. Another explanation is that you might have been targeted specifically, which could be more worrying. Do you work in a position which could be expected to attract the attention of criminals? Do you think you might have upset someone? I'd like to see the headers, or better the entire mail. Please feel free to send privately. Don't be surprised if the message is rejected.
