Hello, In line with ISC's deprecation policy, I am notifying the mailing list of our intent to deprecate the "dialup" and "heartbeat-interval" options in named.
These options concentrate zone maintenance operations, such as zone transfers between primary and secondary servers, into clusters for the benefit of servers that only have intermittent connectivity to the internet. This is no longer a common enough scenario to justify the added code complexity.
