Google sites use a domain in the following way for their free sites. https://sites.google.com/company.com/mysite/ How can I create a CNAME for a site in this format? Is there another way?
A CNAME record can't point to a URL. It can only point to another DNS name. You'll have to run a web server under "company.com" that does an HTTP redirect to Google Sites.
