Hi all, I noticed that the Bind is reloading weekly on my RHEL6, RHEL7 and CentOS7 systems with up-to-date version of distribution Bind package.

Nov 18 04:02:03 nameserver systemd: Reloaded Berkeley Internet Name Domain (DNS). ... Bind log channel: # grep "received control channel command 'reload'" /var/named/chroot/var/ log/bind.log 28-Oct-2018 04:02:03.583 general: info: received control channel command 'reload' 04-Nov-2018 04:02:03.408 general: info: received control channel command 'reload' 11-Nov-2018 04:02:03.199 general: info: received control channel command 'reload' 18-Nov-2018 04:02:03.715 general: info: received control channel command 'reload' ... I didn't find any information about such behavior. Is it known feature/issue and is there really reason for that? Martin
