I am running RHEL 7 with latest version of bind 9.9.4-61. I am trying to ensure
when I look at the SOA records for the zone it matches the serial number of the
zone file. I have dnssec running but we are not using dynamic updates. I have
tried using the "serial-update-method increment;" in global named.conf options.
This does work however, because we dont use dynamic dns.
How can I get the serial number from the zone files SOA to match the dig output
"dig @`hostname` SOA zone.example.com +short"?
