yum list bind --showduplicates Available Packages bind.x86_64 32:9.8.2-0.30.rc1.el6 base bind.x86_64 32:9.8.2-0.30.rc1.el6_6.1 updates You might want to update to the latest RedHat package. The stock RedHat versions of bind contain many patches backported into 9.8 from more recent bind versions.
