Hi folks, I've some problem with query serveral site, I use BIND 9.6.-ESV-R7-P2
$ host dns1.pointhq.com ;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached $ tail /var/log/named.log 18-May-2013 05:58:09.490 client 127.0.0.1#55351: view internal: query failed (SERVFAIL) for dns1.pointhq.com/IN/A at /usr/src/usr.sbin/named/../../contrib/bind9/bin/named/query.c:4655 But if i use Google DNS: $ host dns1.pointhq.com ;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached budsz:~$ host dns1.pointhq.com 8.8.8.8 Using domain server: Name: 8.8.8.8 Address: 8.8.8.8#53 Aliases: dns1.pointhq.com has address 109.233.112.63 Can you give me some clue to fix this problem - Thank you. -- budsz
