I guess where I am confused is that I thought that the line
"update-conflict-detection false;" would override this check.

If my assumption that I am overriding the check works (which is probably
wrong), then why does it care? Why doesn't it just erase the old and put
in the new? That was what I was attempting to ask before but I am just
not entirely sure the best wording for it.

dhcpd knows the name and the IP address. I just want bind to reflect
that name/IP combination in the DNS system when I do lookups and reverse
lookups. What am I doing wrong that makes my reverse lookups fail?
