I am running a different version of bind on two servers as caching only
forwarder.
named -v
BIND 9.6.1-P3
named -v
BIND 9.3.6-P1
dig @127.0.0.1 -t srv _sip._udp.sjtest3.net
Both of the servers appear to be caching the NXDOMAIN results (rndc dumpdb)
however the 9.6.1-P3 server is still sending out queries as if the caching did
not happen.
