If you have IPv6 but don't use IPv6, see the named switch -4 "Use IPv4 only even if the host machine is capable of IPv6. -4 and -6 are mutually exclusive." (I get the same types of messages on my personal NetBSD system since I don't have a IPv6 tunnel setup here.) Jeremy C.
