Hi, today my bind crashed with the following in my log files:
Dec 27 19:12:49 localhost named[9294]: not insecure resolving 'tracker.piecesnbits.net.dlv.isc.org/DLV/IN': [SCRUBBED IP OF MY ISP_DNS]#53 Dec 27 19:13:03 localhost named[9294]: validator.c:2762: REQUIRE(type != 0) failed Dec 27 19:13:03 localhost named[9294]: exiting (due to assertion failure) Anyone knows what this means? A problem with my config or a bug in bind? My System infos: /var/log# named -version BIND 9.3.4-P1.1 /var/log# uname -a Linux Debian-40-etch-64-LAMP 2.6.18-4-amd64 #1 SMP Fri May 4 00:37:33 UTC 2007 x86_64 GNU/Linux I think i had a similar crash before, but couldn't find it in the logfiles.
