Hello,
Does anyone have some recommendations for some tutorials/documentation
for using perlscript as a client-side language in browsers?
I really recommend against it, whatever was of PerlScript is immensely
dated, and, IIRC, Internet Explorer only.
This been said, the following links emerged:
http://www.precisium.com.au/perl/docs/perl-win32-asp-faq.htm
http://www.apache-asp.org/perlscript.html
http://docs.activestate.com/activeperl/5.8/Components/Windows/PerlScript.html
http://www.cpan.org/authors/id/M/MS/MSERGEANT/PSIntro.html
But I believe you will be much better in using JavaScript for your
client-side scripting.
Well, I am not interesting for only using it in the browser, but also using
it in Windows Scripting Host apps, and in .hta applications.
It is much simple to create a .hta application (which is something like XUL)
than writing a standard GUI app, and perl has some advantages if I compare
it with JScript and VBScript.
Thank you.
