Pretty much, but it might help to try building Tk manually after a cleanup. Try 
this

cpan> look Tk

(should give you a prompt something like /root/.cpan/build/Tk-804.028> )

make clean
perl Makefile.PL
make
make test

  If all that looks right then

make install
