I need in my job to handle a german file under Windows XP operating system although always use Linux at home). Modern Perl should be able to handle any Unicode characters, although there may be a few places where the support isn't complete. I was unable to use the .tar.gz file for that module (Is it corrupted?) but you might be able to: http://search.cpan.org/~bigj/Lingua-DE-ASCII-0.11/ASCII.pm http://search.cpan.org/CPAN/authors/id/B/BI/BIGJ/Lingua-DE-ASCII-0.11.tar.gz Hope this helps! --Tom Phoenix Stonehenge Perl Training -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <http://learn.perl.org/> <http://learn.perl.org/first-response>
