Hello, I am not shure if I post this question in the right mailing list, but let's try.. ;-)
I want to use Perl to monitor the audio level of a line input from the soundcard, in other words, I want to build a (simple) script that detects silence, to monitor a broadcast link. I have found a module(Audio::OSS) that has some audio capabilities, but I can't figure out if that module fits within my needs, or if I have to look somewhere else. Any help is truly appreciated!
