I guess a good starting point would be Michael Schilli's logging HTTP proxy code, which you can find at the following url: http://www.linux-magazin.de/Artikel/ausgabe/2000/04/Proxy/proxy.html Your code to modify a HTTP::Request object should go in right after "while (my $request = $conn->get_request) {". You might want to read the documentation for LWP to learn about HTTP::Header, HTTP::Request, HTTP::Response and their relationship.
