Google links to things, in part, because people mention them online. When *Google* sees this thread, it will register that as a positive vote for the site in question, and will as a result increase the liklihood that visitors will be sent there. The site in question is both illegal (under the laws of the US and other western nations) and ethically questionable. There is no good reason to mention it in polite company, as it only amplifies the problem. As I said before, if the authors are fine with their work being republished on a site like this, then that would make everything okay. But with few (if any) exceptions, they have not been asked permission to do this, so it's neither fair nor legal. Why encourage using it? Be a good citizen. Steer people away from junk like this.
