perl template

I use a perl template and getting this error

my $templateFile="\home\anish\temp\client.html";
$template->process($templateFile, \%inputVariables) || die "Template process 
failed: ", $template->error(), "\
n";


absolute paths are not allowed (set ABSOLUTE option)

Please help me
