If you want to give away Gmail Invites, why not try the Gmail Invite Spooler: http://isnoop.net/gmailomatic.php Send the invites to the address specified on the page, and they're passed out to people in the request queue. I tried it yesterday to make sure it still worked, and the invite was picked up and distributed in a couple of minutes.
